The inspired Luke begins the book of Acts with this statement: “The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach.” Notice the order: “do and teach.” Too many today have reversed that order. Can we forgive someone who has not repented and still be pleasing to God? We are to forgive as God forgives...but how does He do that? Is repentance conditional on something else? What does the Bible say?
