In Psalm 66:6-7, David wrote, "Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away, and be at rest. Lo, then I would wander far off, and remain in the wilderness." Even though we're not told told the circumstances under which David wrote these words, it might not be too difficult for us to imagine, and then apply the lessons to our own lives.
What would you say if someone told you there were mistakes in the Bible? We're not referring to mistakes in the different versions and various modern translations. We're talking bailout mistakes in the Bible itself. Well, there ARE mistakes in the Bible...and we'll examine some of them in today's episode.
Since Christ is the only Savior, His way is the only way, His church is the only church, and His plan is the only plan, it is wise for us to consider the what, the who, the where, and the why, when it comes to our salvation. What does the Bible say?
A lot of people believe what they do religiously because of what their preacher has told them. Certainly, there a preachers who preach the truth, but many others will just preach some truth, while taking from and adding to the scriptures to fit their own beliefs or doctrines.
